Refund Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
Helping Hands sells one thing: contact reveals, paid for at ₹10 each or with wallet credits (₹49 for 6, ₹99 for 15, all GST-inclusive). This policy covers when a reveal or a credit purchase is refunded, and how.
1. Dead or invalid numbers — automatic refund
If the number you unlocked is dead, switched off permanently, wrong, or belongs to someone else, report it within 7 days of the unlock (from the provider’s page or via Grievance Redressal). Once confirmed, the reveal is refunded automatically as a wallet credit. Providers with confirmed dead numbers are delisted.
2. What is not refundable
- The provider didn’t answer once, but the number works. People miss calls — try again or unlock another provider.
- You changed your mind after seeing the number, or found the provider another way.
- You and the provider could not agree on price, timing, or scope. We are a directory — the deal itself is between you two.
- Credits that expired unused (credits are valid 90 days from purchase or grant).
3. How refunds are paid
Refunds are issued only as wallet credits — never as cash, bank transfer, or UPI. Credits are closed-system: non-transferable, non-withdrawable, redeemable only against contact reveals, and never encashable. A refunded credit is valid for 90 days from the date it is granted.
4. Credit pack purchases
Purchases of credit packs are otherwise non-refundable, except as required by law. If you paid through the Android app, your purchase is additionally subject to Google Play’s own refund process — refund requests for in-app purchases can also be made to Google under their policy.
5. Things worth knowing
- Once a number is unlocked, it stays visible to your account free forever — you never pay twice for the same provider.
- New accounts get 3 free credits, so you can try the service before spending anything.
- Abusing the dead-number report (reporting working numbers to farm credits) violates the Terms of Use and can lead to account suspension.
6. Disagree with a refund decision?
Raise it with our grievance officer — details, timelines, and the escalation path are on the Grievance Redressal page. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under Indian consumer law.
