Grievance Redressal

Last updated: 12 July 2026

If something went wrong — a payment issue, a bad experience with a listed provider, a review dispute, a data-privacy concern, or anything else — this page tells you exactly whom to contact, how fast we respond, and where to go if we let you down. It is published in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Rules.

Grievance Officer

Name: Nishant Deka

Email: grievance@kandamal.com

Registered address: [to be published upon entity registration], Guwahati, Assam

How to file a complaint

Email the grievance officer from your registered phone’s email or mention your registered phone number in the mail. Include:

  • What happened, and when.
  • The provider or transaction involved (if any) — the provider’s name and city, or your payment reference.
  • What outcome you are seeking.

Our response commitments

  • Acknowledgement within 48 hours of receiving your complaint, with a ticket reference.
  • Resolution within 1 month of receipt, as required by the E-Commerce Rules, 2020. Most wallet and refund issues resolve much faster.

If you are not satisfied — escalation path

  1. Grievance officer — start here; give us the chance to fix it within the timelines above.
  2. National Consumer Helpline — call 1915 (or use the NCH app/portal), a free service of the Government of India’s Department of Consumer Affairs.
  3. Consumer forum — you may file a complaint before the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Common issues with faster routes

  • Dead or invalid number you paid to unlock — report it within 7 days for an automatic wallet-credit refund; see the Refund Policy.
  • Data or privacy requests (access, correction, erasure) — see the Privacy Policy and Delete my account.
  • Disputes about work quality or price with a provider — Helping Hands is a directory and not a party to the service contract, but complaints still matter: 2 verified complaints suspend a provider’s profile pending review.
